La Adelita Anejo Tequila

Named in honor of the fearless women who fought in the Mexican Revolution who became known as La Adelita. La Adelita Tequila is harvested and distilled on a Single Estate Plantation located in the heart of the highlands of Jalisco, where the best agave is grown. It is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and distilled in small, Cuban Copper pot stills. The Anejo is aged 18 months in second-use American Oak whiskey barrels. The barrels are then re-toasted in Mexico to a medium toast. The result is a powerful, bold flavored tequila with a vegetal character that emphasizes a well-integrated cedar-butterscotch. Well balanced and quite dramatic. Expressive and direct scents of buttercream, lime, and fresh gave on the nose.
